Description

About the Book “Here Where I Can Hear the Silence Sing”

“Here Where I Can Hear the Silence Sing” is a profoundly personal journey into the pursuit of
balance in life, inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Chōwa, which represents the quest for
harmony. I delve into the themes of silence, tranquility, and the delicate balance between physical
and mental well-being, all of which are central to my existence, especially given my experience
with Tinnitus—a constant sound that resides within my head, whether real or imagined.
The book reflects my ongoing search for peace amidst the noise, both external and internal.
Through a combination of evocative imagery and introspective narrative, I aim to capture the
essence of stillness and the beauty found in balance. The work serves as a poetic translation of my
emotions and experiences, conveyed through a visual language that emphasizes stillness,
aesthetics, color, and form. Each image and passage in the book is an intuitive self-portrait, tapping into deeper layers and
feelings tied to specific moments and places. The central theme revolves around the tension
between structure and freedom, rhythm and routine, and the crucial choices we face—whether to
stay rooted in one place or to forge our own path. “Here Where I Can Hear the Silence Sing” is not
just a book; it is a reflection on the human condition and a testament to the importance of finding
harmony in the chaos of life.
